2015 Bald Archy. It’s taken a few years but I finally put paint to canvas and created my entry called ‘Baked Ego’. Deciding which politician to use as my subject was proving a futile task so instead I chose Annabel Crabb. In her Kitchen Cabinet show she interviews quite a few interesting politicians in a seemingly casual forum. However her casual manner masks a series of penetrating questions that reveal so much. To me it appears she slowly and gently bakes their egos. I painted Annabel in a cute 50’s style dress. Without the background it looks innocent. With the background, it looks like bloodshed. My entry made the finalist shortlist and is currently on tour around NSW. For tour details, http://www.baldarchy.com.au/exhibition.html Bald Archy 2015
Get your photo taken with the Bride and Groom. Well a cut out version of them. It's the same as at the circus, pictures are painted onto a large board with the faces cut out. This board is about 180cm high. It was displayed at a wedding party at Whale Beach. The dark patch top right was dark green chalk paint for messages.Wedding Board

There are certain events that really make you smile. This event gave me the best seat in the house. A corporate event held at Randwick Racecourse. I set up near the window to take advantage of the natural light so I could draw people easily. As you can see from the picture I had prime view of the finish line. Add the roar of the crowd and you get a magical afternoon. Randwick Racecourse Event
Fun Day at Randwick Racecourse. After creating 25 caricatures in a team portrait, Ricky Lee popped into the corporate box to complete the team shot. Ricky Lee Caricature
