Always a great ice breaker though this gentleman didn't need any help in the art of socializing.Corporate event for clients
Old school mates Greg, Matt, Ray and Rob have shared quite a few interesting times together. I had an absolute ball drawing this portrait. Three of the guys live in England so the portrait was created digitally which made transport easier and no fighting over the original. It will also be entered into the Stanley awards for the Australian Cartoonists Association. Celebrating 40th birthdays
In October this year, the school will be combining a fundraising event together with showcasing children's artworks. Each class will produce 1 artwork with the help from either a parent or adult. The brief - To create a background painting that represents the theme “This is me…at the fun fair” and adding cut out self portraits drawn by K4 Kindergarden class. Each child drew themselves on paper. These were cut out so I could plan the artwork to enable each child's drawing to be part of the fun park's activities and rides. The illustration was created with acrylics, some ink, collage and finally the kids cut outs. Images show the steps from pencil rough to final. Fundraiser concept and coordination by Julie Lindfield. This gig was set in an old converted warehouse. I was stationed near a long pool and a lovely wall display of interesting wines.< A gig in luxury
This portrait is a little different to other live caricature work I do. Eleven family members gathered at a darling harbour restaurant to celebrate Adrian's birthday. They wanted an A2 size family portrait drawn live at the venue. I organised a small table next to their large one and invited each person one by one to get drawn. It was a very intimate event being so close to everyone.70th Birthday event
It was a surprise gift from his wife presented at his birthday party surrounded by friends and family. I think he likes golf! Geoff’s 70th Bday!
What better way to advertise concrete waste water tanks....you turn them into cartoons! Coastal Wastewater Systems in QLD, wanted to inject some humour into their next round of advertising. Based on problem areas tanks owners can face, 7 versions were designed. My favourite is the 'FULL' tank with bulging eyes.Waste Water Tank Cartoons – Character Development
